Merry Christmas

Did this month fly by or what?! It seems like only yesterday was Thanksgiving. It's hard to believe we just celebrated Christmas with both sides of our family. Last Thursday, Mamaw and Papaw Williams drove up from South Carolina to spend some time with O and to celebrate Christmas with us. We ended up opening a few presents on Christmas Eve and on Christmas morning since there were so many! Yeah... Owen's not spoiled. Our house looks like a Toys 'R Us bomb has gone off inside of it. It's ridiculous.

After opening his second round of presents on Christmas morning, we took off for Louisville for the Littlefield Family Christmas at Great Grandma and Grandpa Littlefield's house. Before visiting with the entire family, we stopped by Grandma Lynn and Grandpa Steve's to exchange presents and leave gifts for Owen's cousins Ava, Jack and Charlotte.

After getting to the family Christmas party, Owen showed off his army crawl and spent some time giggling with his Aunt Donna and Great Grandpa. He loves being around people - as long as he's not tired. Lucky for us, when the little guy started to rub his eyes, Grandma Lynn was right there to hold him. I love family!

After a couple of hours with most of the Littlefields, we had to go and make the drive back home. I was surprised Owen didn't sleep much in the car, but was able to sing him to sleep with four rounds of "Rudolph, the Red Nosed Reindeer" and the theme song the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Nate even chimed in with, "turtles on the half shell, turtle power!"

Christmas night was a little rough, but we made it through with some help from Dad and a little nap on the couch. Now... onto New Year's!
