We ended up buying him the Reebok Zigs, in U of L colors of course. Surprisingly, O keeps them on his feet and may even like them! We're hoping these help him balance a little better and look cooler at daycare.
Owen also helped his buddy Mason celebrate his first birthday on Saturday! I can't believe he's already a year old. Of course, that means that Owen's going to be having his first birthday in a few months. Time seriously flies. Owen really enjoyed seeing some of his favorite people like Sarah, Brandt and Mason (of course!) and Colleen and Justin. He also got to "meet" some people who last saw him when he was either an infant or still in my tummy. The party was a lot of fun - Sarah really did a great job! O especially liked the ball pit. Nate and I cracked up watching him play in it... he reminded us of Shelden from The Big Bang Theory. If only Owen could yell, "BA-ZINGA!"
But probably most notable, Owen got to spend time with his Grandpa Steve, Grandma Lynn, Uncle Brad and big cousin Jack this weekend. We were so glad they were all able to come up and visit with us! Owen watched Jack's every move. He's definitely super cool in O's book.
I have just discovered your blog and look forward to reading often.
