Owen gets a birthday party

Recently, Nate and I celebrated the wedding of one of my very best friends and a kid free night. It was a blast! Owen spent the weekend with Gamma, Papa and "Bad" while Nate and I took a little stay-cation here in Indy. We missed our little guy, though!

When we got to Louisville to pick him up, he was decked out in a University of Kentucky t-shirt (hmm... it seems as though I've lost it now...) and we celebrated his belated birthday with the Littlefield/Wegman crew since he was sick when his party was supposed to happen in June.

This is my favorite picture from the party! It's Owen with his Great-Grandma Mary and cousin Jack reading his very favorite book. I'm so glad we were able to celebrate his first birthday with family after all!
